Looking for the ultimate adult tennis camp in Melbourne? During Australian Open week, the Carlos Alcaraz Academy Camps give players the opportunity to take their game to the next level. Train with world-class coaches and develop the skills you need to perform with confidence in local leagues, tournaments and club matches.
During the camp, players train 2 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, for a total of 8 hours of tennis training. The programme focuses on refining technique, developing match strategy, building mental strength and improving overall performance.
The training process takes you from fine-tuning the details of your game to understanding strategy and competing with greater confidence. Our programmes are open to players of all levels, but you will be asked to indicate your level during registration so we can group players appropriately. Please note that during the first session, our Head Coach from the Carlos Alcaraz Academy may reorganise groups based on players’ actual level and the needs of each group.
- Duration: 8 hours of tennis training
- Coaches: Led by expert coaches from the Carlos Alcaraz Academy
During the camp, you will work on:
- Strategy, positioning and tactics: Improve your decision-making and court awareness.
- Physical training: Develop the fitness, movement and agility needed to perform at your best.
- Racquet skills and stroke technique: Refine your technique and learn to execute your shots more effectively.
- Mindset, attitude and values: Understand the importance of a strong mindset both on and off the court.
- Competitive training: Take part in drills designed to replicate real match situations and competitive pressure.
At the Carlos Alcaraz Academy Camps, we focus on developing complete players, not just technical skills. Our holistic approach helps adult players build a balanced game by combining tactical intelligence, physical conditioning and mental strength.
Unlike traditional tennis training, our camp is highly personalised. Whether you are an experienced competitor or returning to tennis, our coaches adapt the training to your level and needs. You will develop strategic tools to challenge your opponents, improve your reading of the game and become more confident when adapting under pressure.
Beyond the training itself, the camp offers a unique tennis community experience. You will meet other passionate tennis players, creating connections that extend beyond the court. Many of our participants have built lasting friendships and continue to support each other in their tennis journey.
